Park City Arts Festival August 4 & 5

If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend make the 10-minute trek from Hideout Canyon to Park City's historic Main Street for the 48th annual Park City Arts Festival.

This year's festival will feature over 200 artists from all over the United States and Canada as well as 30 live bands on 3 different stages and some of the best food around.

Yesterday I took a drive around Hideout Canyon to see how the development was shaping up as we enter the first week of May.

Spring is a particularly beautiful time of year at Hideout Canyon as the temperatures start warming to the 60's and 70's with sunny days galore. Yesterday was no exception as low 70's and shirt sleeves were the order of the day. It will still be a few weeks before all the trees are leafed out in their summer greenery but the views over the lake with the still largely snow-covered peaks of Timpanogos and Deer Valley in the distance will take your breath away every time.

A number of homes are currently under construction at Hideout Canyon and as the weather continues to warm some of the many homes currently in Design Review will begin construction as well.

Winter is a beautiful time at Hideout Canyon. You can look outside and see and feel the beauty. I snapped a few pictures the other day that show the mountains of Park City and Deer Valley in the background over the lake and another of a rabbit poking its head up at me as I drove by, you have to look closely to see him though.
